Minior’s ordinary core colors are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. Green is confirmed for the Orionids debut. Color changes appearance; Meteor versus Core changes battle stats.

Slide HP below 50% to expose the core. This models the published rule, not in-game damage or CP scaling.

Meteor Form

The seven cores are distinct collectible forms. Their rocky exterior looks alike, so do not treat the shell’s hue, the background sky or the encounter’s lighting as a reliable color selector. The colored art below is a visual reference from the Pokémon artwork archive.
As of this review, Green Core is the only confirmed released color. Six future showers are not needed for six remaining colors: Geminids introduces two colors, with a different one in each hemisphere. The exact assignments have not been published in the reviewed official announcement.

Meteor Form and Core Form do different jobs
Meteor Form is the defensive state. An exposed core has more Attack and less Defense. They remain Rock/Flying in either state; a change in color does not add an elemental type.
The GO Hub database lists Meteor Form at 116 Attack, 194 Defense and 155 Stamina. The exposed core is listed at 218 Attack, 131 Defense and 155 Stamina. These are Pokémon GO base stats, not the six-stat spread from the main-series games. Individual values and level affect your actual Pokémon.
The viewer demonstrates the published HP threshold rather than predicting battle damage or league CP. Move the slider to 50% and then 49% to see why “below half” matters. Battle animation timing and ongoing implementation changes can differ from a simple educational model.
Where the form change works
The launch announcement names Team GO Rocket, team-leader battles and GO Battle League. Do not assume that a raid simulation using Core stats means the same transformation is active in raid battles.
Early player reports are still investigating level and CP scaling during a battle. The artwork viewer intentionally does not calculate an “optimal” IV or promise a CP result. Check a current simulator and test in a low-stakes battle before committing resources.
Can you change one color into another?
No color-changing method is announced. The forms reference describes the seven core colors as non-interchangeable. Losing HP exposes the existing core; it does not randomize it, evolve it or let you choose a new one.
Treat the viewer’s color buttons as a reference tool. They do not represent an action available in the Pokémon GO app. Likewise, the shiny toggle shows archived shiny artwork for comparison and does not imply that shiny Minior has been released in GO.
