October 28 review: Orionids is historical
The October 19–24 Orionids window is over. Leonids is the next announced occurrence on November 14–19. The official page confirms shower timing, not every future research task or the exact remaining core-color assignments. Read the local calendar status and the game’s current announcement together.
There are three clocks to watch
These timers are not interchangeable. You may finish an evening session days before the event ends, and a research reward can have its own deadline. The safe habit is to read the countdown in the game instead of deriving it from the spawn schedule.
| Clock | Meaning | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Whole event | First day 17:00 → last day 23:59 | The announced encounter period |
| Evening boost | 17:00 → 21:00 each day | The priority catch window |
| Timed Research | Countdown on your research page | Complete and claim before your timer expires |
Geminids has a hemisphere split
The December shower introduces one color in the Northern Hemisphere and another in the Southern Hemisphere. The reviewed announcement does not identify either color, and it does not publish a special boundary rule for players near the equator.
Choose your hemisphere in the calendar to make that distinction easier to read. This is a planning preference only; the site does not request or detect your location. Both hemispheres use the same announced local-date window.
Do not book travel around a guessed color assignment. Wait for the official event update, then check whether the color is actually available through the encounter method you intend to use.
Why the calendar continues into 2027
The announcement describes annual meteor-shower windows. With Minior debuting in October 2026, the next May, July and August occurrences are in 2027. Leek Duck’s event calendar lists those occurrences explicitly.
That is different from promising that every future year will have unchanged rewards or an identical color distribution. Event details can be updated. Our calendar records the announced windows and keeps unconfirmed color assignments visible as unconfirmed.
How calendar downloads handle time
Each download uses floating local time. Import it into the calendar you use while playing, and check the displayed hours after import. The file describes the full event, with the daily 5–9 p.m. boost in its notes; it does not create six separate evening appointments.
If you travel between time zones, check how your calendar app interprets floating events. The game’s local event window remains the reference. The status labels on this page update using your device clock after the page loads.
A note on the Orionids research deadline
The reviewed sources disagree: Leek Duck lists October 24 at 11:59 p.m.; GoDex’s October report says 5 p.m. This guide preserves that uncertainty instead of silently choosing the later deadline.
Orionids is now historical. For a new shower, check its own countdown in the Today tab and claim completed rewards before that task’s deadline. The rare bonus research is not guaranteed for every player. Neither a calendar download nor a live event badge means your account has received it.
